Ty Ferrell is a 3D character artist, technical artist, and illustrator with over five years of experience in the entertainment industry. He has worked on projects in games, film, and print. Currently he is a character and technical artist at Grove Street Games and the owner of Outlaw Hue.
● Model and texture both high-resolution 3D sculpts and final low
polygon game assets
● Iterate on game assets with production artists via prototyping and
group critiques
● Assist with Tech Art and Engineering in planning and implementing art pipeline
• Create characters from my direction or established designs.
• Communicate efficiently with clients, art directors, and team members to produce
high-‐quality projects
• Engage in critical review and feedback on all art projects
• Cast critical reviews on personal art to seek out continuous improvement opportunities
• Manage multiple ongoing projects in an efficient manner, in order to hit milestones and
maintain a dependable reputation
• Mentor other artists, specifically as it pertains to 3D art and career development

• Edit and revise project assets quickly, as requested by client, director, or team members
• Continuously study industry trends and software developments
• Utilize a variety of pipelines and tools, dependent on the project
● Work closely with Producer and Art Director to define the most optimal process for game project
● Develop all assets of game in preproduction, production, and post production
● Work with a team consisting of two art generalists, software engineer, mathematician, sound designer, director and a producer to design and develop new game concepts
● Support game development by reviewing games at various milestones to ensure eye catching graphics and game performance are implemented as designed
● Vet trending software for usability with designed pipelines
